Hello, my name is Peter.
I’m a journalist for hire based in Upstate New York. I've worked at many things in my life—concrete and tile masonry, lifeguarding and farming, among them—but find I'm best suited to storytelling. My writing has appeared in print and online at Men's Health, Outside, Men's Journal, Travel + Leisure, Gear Patrol, Men’s Fitness, Mic, Popular Science, Condé Nast Traveler, GQ, National Geographic Adventure, Hemispheres, Rhapsody, Oryx, BestLife, The Active Times, USA Today, GO Magazine and Artvoice, among others. Outside of that, I’m a husband, father, and endurance athlete who loves exploring the world—from local trails to far-flung mountains—under his own power.
